The Waiting Game

We're exactly one week away from our due date for the arrival of our third daughter, Ruby Grace. We are so excited to meet her, but amazed that she's not here yet. A couple weeks back Megan felt ready to pop. She was in pain and much more tired then she was during her first two pregnancies as she's chasing a three and two year old this time around. Suffice to say, she's very ready to meet Ruby, as are Abby and Emma. They keep asking Megan if she can come out and play yet. We keep telling them that she's still cooking!

Because our first two pregnancies required inductions, and Megan's body handled them well, her doctor suggested that we schedule a date. We debated this idea as it wasn't necessary, but decided that she was in enough pain that it would be good to select a date so the end is in sight. So, we have a scheduled induction for this upcoming Wednesday, June 27th. When we picked the date, it was three weeks out and we thought there's no way we'll make it that long. Now here we are, four days away, scratching our heads asking, "How has she not arrived yet?"

We can't wait to get to Wednesday so we can meet her, yet still curious as to if she'll come any sooner. If you know of any labor inducing tricks, Megan will give anything a try, just give her a call with any suggestions! :)

Hey Buddy, What is the world coming to? We pass each other at church with not much time to even say hello. Now, I get more info about you and all the Fordice girls on your Blog. I guess I'll take info on you all as it comes. This BLOG thing is a bit out there for an old guy with little internet skills. I better get with the times if I want to hang with you young folks. Maybe you should put a link to the Monopoly score sheet. If you decide to make a link, wait until I win a couple more games.
Please know that Beth and I are praying for you,Megan and little Ruby.
